Lāsma Kuplā / Mezzosopran
Lāsma Kuplā stammt aus Lettland. Sie eroberte die Schweiz im Sturm mit ihrer Ausstrahlung, positive Energie und grosser musikalischen Begabung. Nach ihrem Abschluss an der Musikakademie in Riga kam sie nach Basel und wurde sofort Chorleiterin für die berühmten Terra Choralis und BALTS. Ausserdem ist sie Chorleiterin des Gospelchors Dreikönig.
Neben der Musik ist sie eine leidenschaftliche Sportlerin. Sie hat die Freude zum Skifahren in der Schweiz entdeckt.
Seit 2018 lebt sie glücklich verheiratet mit dem Cellisten Mārcis Kuplais in Basel.

Lāsma Kuplā is from Latvia. She took Switzerland by storm with her charisma, positive energy and great musical talent.
After graduating from the Music Academy in Riga, she came to Basel and immediately became a choir director for the famous Terra Choralis and BALTS. She is also the choirmaster of the Dreikönig gospel choir.
In addition to music, she is a passionate sportswoman. She discovered the joy of skiing in Switzerland.
She has been happily married to the cellist Mārcis Kuplais in Basel since 2018.
